She was discharged this evening from the hospital. Abby will continue to have weekly labs done for white and red blood cell counts and platelet counts. In addition, she will have another sedated MRI and lumbar puncture (spinal tap) in two weeks to see how the tumor is responding to treatment.
Abby's appetite is poor and did not eat much this week. She continues to loose her hair. It is thinning rapidly and is getting patchy.

Hi Abby, I met your Mom at the hospital last weekend. She told me all about your story and everything you are going through. I know this is not very much fun but I am so proud of you for being so brave. Everything you go through now will make you very strong for all the fun you are going to have in your long and healthy life. I have a little girl who has a brain tumor too. She has a different type of brain tumor but she too is being brave. You kids amaze me and teach all of us adults how to be strong and brave.
